  • The second survey, open from May 15 to August 3, 2025, had 365 respondents. It gathered valuable input on the community's character and needs, building on insights from the first survey to help shape Columbia County's future planning priorities and community vision.

  • Thank you to the community members who have engaged with and requested self-led community workshop kits. The Foundations for the Future team is grateful to those who have brought together friends, family, and neighbors to gather feedback and share it with county staff. Your grassroots efforts help ensure every voice in Columbia County is heard as we plan for our shared future.

  • Thank you to everyone who participated in the Columbia County Visioning Workshops on Thursday, May 22, at 1:30–3:00 PM or 6:30–8:00 PM in the Columbia County Exhibition Center. We appreciate the time and input from all who attended the afternoon and evening sessions.

    Your ideas and feedback are helping shape the foundation for Columbia County’s future. From identifying key priorities to suggesting project ideas, your contributions are essential to this planning process.

  • The first survey, which was open from March 10 to April 30, 2025, had 539 respondents. It gathered valuable input on Columbia County’s strengths and areas for improvement across key topic areas, including land use, community services, transportation, parks and recreation, and the county’s overall character.

  • Community members placed 44 pins on the interactive map, identifying assets, priorities, and opportunities across Columbia County. Thank you to everyone who participated in mapping the county's strengths and areas for improvement during Engagement Waves 1 and 2.

  • Thank you to everyone who joined the project kick-off celebration on March 18, 2025, at the Columbia County Library in Evans. The event brought together residents, local leaders, and community partners to learn about the Foundations for the Future Comprehensive Plan and share their vision for Columbia County's future through interactive activities and discussions.
